Some South American Mythical short ranged weapons were weapons like clubs, spears, battle axes, and knives. South Americans were smart and would give the short ranged weapons to unskilled members of the tribe as they do not require a lot of skill. The clubs had different end pieces to put on them depending on the battle or enemy (as shown in picture.)
Different Warrior Club Heads
Long ranged Weapons
The South American Warriors did not at any time use heavy artillery weapons, they kept light even with long range weapons. They used weapons like slings, bows and arrows and even some skilled spear men. The trained South American Warriors with some of these weapons, would be very deadly and hard to take down. The picture shows the different kinds of spear that the Warriors would have used.
